my process

GETTING STARTED

once you reach out, we’ll talk about your family, the ages of your little ones, and what you hope to remember from this season. from there, we’ll choose the session and location that fit your family best. no two families are the same, and your photographs shouldn’t be either.

PLANNING

before your session, i’ll help with outfits, location, timing, and any questions you have along the way. we’ll plan enough to make everything feel easy, but leave plenty of room for your family to simply be yourselves. you don’t need to worry about having everything perfectly coordinated or getting everyone to behave perfectly.

DAY OF

come ready to play, laugh, cuddle, and love on your people. i’ll guide you when needed, but i also want the kids to be kids. if they want to run, explore, make silly faces, or need a break, we’ll go with it. some of my favorite photographs happen when everyone forgets about the camera and just enjoys being together.

YOUR GALLERY

after your session, i’ll carefully hand edit your photographs in my signature style. your gallery will hold a little piece of your family exactly as you are right now. the big smiles, little personalities, sweet connections, and in-between moments you’ll want to remember long after this season has passed.
