i’m a wife, photographer, and hopeless romantic with a soft spot for all things sentimental. i’ve always been drawn to photographs that make you feel something, the kind you find tucked away in an old album and can’t help but stare at a little longer. there’s something so special about preserving a moment in time and knowing it can be felt all over again, even decades from now.
when i’m not behind the camera, you can usually find me spending time with my husband, loving on my dogs, enjoying the outdoors, or probably romanticizing the little moments of everyday life. i’m a big believer that the ordinary things often become the memories we miss the most.
when i’m behind the camera, i’m not looking for perfection. i’m looking for you! the belly laughs, happy tears, quiet glances, movement, and everything in between. my goal is for your photographs to feel effortless, nostalgic, and completely true to you.
why should you work with me?
my goal is for you to feel completely comfortable in front of my camera. i’m there to gently guide you when you need it, while leaving plenty of room for the real moments to unfold naturally. the laughter, movement, little glances, and in between moments are often the ones that become my favorite photographs.
i’m not the photographer who wants to show up, take pretty pictures, and disappear. i want to know you, hear the stories, learn who your people are, and be someone you’re genuinely excited to have around on your wedding day. think less “stranger with a camera” and more “new best friend who just happens to be documenting the whole thing."
Location
based in birmingham, alabama, but always happy to go wherever your story takes us. whether we’re photographing somewhere close to home or somewhere completely new, i’m always up for finding a beautiful spot that feels like you!

tips + tricks
wardrobe selection
choose outfits that feel like you & make you feel confident. neutral or softly coordinated tones photograph beautifully, but comfort & authenticity always come first.
props + personal items
bring anything that feels meaningful to your story! a bouquet, champagne, your little one’s favorite toy, your pet, or another sentimental item. keep it personal rather than feeling like you need a prop.
outfit changes
consider choosing two different looks, one more elevated and one more relaxed.
posing
you don’t need to know how to pose, that’s my job! i’ll guide you and prompt you throughout your session while leaving plenty of room for natural movement, connection, and genuine moments.
shoes
we may walk, explore, sit, dance, or venture off the path a little to capture those natural, in between moments.
barefoot is always an option!
forget about the camera
instead of looking at the camera the entire time, focus on each other. talk, laugh, move around, and enjoy the moment. some of my favorite photographs happen when you forget i’m even there.
hair + makeup
professional hair + makeup are completely optional. if you dress things up or keep it natural, choose a look that makes you feel most like yourself.
movement + connection
don’t be afraid to move! walk, dance, cuddle, play, ask each other questions, and laugh. movement creates those dreamy, effortless photographs that feel the most alive.
relax
try to get a good night’s sleep, stay hydrated, and give yourself plenty of time to get ready. arriving relaxed and unrushed makes the entire experience more enjoyable.
time of day
whenever possible, i recommend scheduling outdoor sessions near golden hour, when the light is soft, warm, and dreamy. i’ll help you choose the best start time based on your location and the season.
